Woot for old school programming! Some of my faves (apart from the ones listed) were:

- Insektors
- Budgie the Little Helicopter
- The Busy World of Richard Scarry
- Beast Wars
- Sailor Moon

So many of these bring back good memories of lazing about in front of the tele before the news and dinner. :D

Don't suppose anyone is lucky enough to have any of these shows on DVD?

I'm sure most of these haven't been released on DVD (though Beast Wars definitely has). There most certainly are other ways to get them though... like Sailor Moon (including the uncut versions *cough*).

Alot of these were probably only released on VHS and not DVD unfortunately, like captain planet.

Available on DVD from Amazon.com are:

Inspector Gadget
Banana man
bump in the night
Babar
trap door
gargoyles
darkwing duck
Samurai pizza cats
animaniacs
danger mouse
Alvin and the chipmunks
garfield and friends
The jetsons
reboot

okay a few more than i thought.

I'm a bit too lazy to bother going to Amazon to find out more so I pose the question: are they full seasons or just a selection of episodes making up the discs?

I can't bring myself to watch Widget the Worldwatcher... I loved it as a kid and now that I'm older I know that it will definitely be some sort of hippy social commentry trying to make me care about the environment. I'd much rather keep my childhood memories, they're more fun :P
There are two things I look for in a movie: tacos and explosions. If neither are in the film within 30 seconds, I do not watch it.

Gotta love Gargoyles... It still influences me subconsciously today.

I remember a show that I think was called Mumphey the Elephant; anyone else remember it? It had an elephant that went out into the world because he realised nobody wrote him letters because he didn't know anyone... Had a scarecrow and a little pig with wings? .... Anybody? Hello?

Also remember Insectors; probably one of my intros to 3D in a cartoon.
Just in case people were wondering, it stands for 'At The Convenience Of The Experimenter.'

And now... this!

Johnson and friends is awesome! Last year, the girl who played the water bottle was in one of the uni's plays! in which I got her autograph!

Make that 48 extension cords for good karma and actually watching the whole series!
