How to bend symbols in flash?
« on: March 10, 2009, 12:46:06 PM »
Howdy!

So here's the thing.  I'm trying to make a nice gooshy shoe bend under the weight of my character.  Previously I've done this by seperating the foot into two seperate parts.  That's cute if I wanna stay with stick figures but I fancy passing VFX101.  So I've drawn myself a shoe and am now presented with the challenge of bending it at my will.  Alas it shant obey me!  As a shape, you can use the envelope tool, mind you that's no easy feat, but as a symbol the distortion tool is seriously limiting.  Any ideas?
