Same here. My player of choice is MPC, then VLC if the first fails.

I use 'The Core Media Player' for most of my watching needs; if it's just audio, I just use Media Player 10.
Just in case people were wondering, it stands for 'At The Convenience Of The Experimenter.'

And now... this!

*Convulses* If you want a good program to rip CDs, use CDex. It's free and it uses the LAME script to encode.

I use Winamp as my mp3 player. :P

Winamp i always use. VLC for backup. MPC for quicktime files. i use to have windows media player 11, loved it but for some reason it starting crashing and hanging like crazy, just wasn't worth it, rolled back to version 10, installed winamp. haven't looked back. For movies powerdvd.

I use iTunes for music and Quicktime for video. But finding Quicktime Codecs is annoying.

I use winamp.

And i quote "WINAMP! it really whips the llamas ass!!" (thats a quote from the actual demo that came with winamp- any program cool enough to have that as their demo, deserves my respect *salutes*)
