Intro to Normal Mapping
« on: July 13, 2007, 01:01:34 AM »
A good, simple and to the point tutorial explaining how to normal map using Maya 8.5. A good technique to speed up your animation render times.

Just because you can, it doesn't mean you should.

Unless its cool.

I dunno if this helps, but i find running around with the lil digital you can get some awesome treats, when i went home on the holidays i got some great textures just of old crap, rusty fridges, worn wooden shed floors, and even just of clothes and stuff.

And if you have trouble with these things check out the net and you may find what ur looking for, such as the following link http://mayang.com/textures/

Cheers.
