Hi,
I am informing you that Harvey Norman is selling Western Digital 500GB drives for $280 or so. This is part of there birthday sale and is on till Sunday 29th April.

Thanks for that; I already have a 250 GB external hard-drive, but I may pick one up just for study.

Well i bought one from Office works recently and it was only 465Gb! Where's my 35Gb!!?

Hard drives have historically been advertised in megabytes when in fact they are measured in megabits. For a concise explanation of one of the biggest misconceptions in computing history read Western Digital's FAQ article
