Upcoming film in which Heath Ledger was starring..

Just as a side note I only just found, he was apparently filming a Terry Gilliam film at the time (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus).

As Alex said in the Dark Knight thread, Ledger was filming another film at the time of his death. The film has since been placed on hiatus, and there were doubts as to whether or not the production would continue, seeing as they were reasonably into the filming when Ledger passed. At any rate the director stated that if production were to continue, the film would be dedicated to Ledger's memory.

Different methods of completing the film's production without Ledger have been discussed, such as talks of digitally recreating him (Marlon Brando-esque (Superman Returns)), but the most recent news is that due to the nature of the film's story (travelling through parallel worlds) allows for Ledger to be replaced (his character "transformed" into another version of himself) by another actor.

Early rumours suggested that Johnny Depp was to replace Ledger, but most recent news has said that 3 actors - Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell may replace Ledger (as different incarnations of the one character).

My story pretty much goes i came to uni to learn 3D, but have since decided that id far prefer to do 2D/3D mixtures.. Im still figuring out a particular niche that id like to specialise in, but at the moment id say im a digital painter/matte painter/2D character animator/semi-3D modeller/texturer..  :P

Twas an awesome trip.. Admittedly almost being sideswiped by a tram really wasnt on the to-do list it was... fun?

The afore mentioned pub that we found was in the seediest alley that i had ever seen.. Though it was awesome, Keat seemed to be the only one willing to begin with to follow 2 complete strangers down the alley whilst Rob stood up the top wondering whether or not they were vampires :P.

I would have to say it was a trip full of awesomeness (yes nick..journey!) But u guys who havent been to the Pixar exhibition yet; go!

It is well worth it. Full of many many many wonderful and shiney things - especially the Zoetrope (i believe Alex mentioned it in another thread), and also jus the storyboard/concept works are incredible..

And i guess thats my peice.
