I use a PC, but my half-grapho heritage makes me lust for Macs as well.

Haha, exciting indeed. How on earth did you manage to get to such a site/page?

its good, but it needs some more of this.

That was so random it turned out to be intriguing. Lick it!

Oh, and Purple and Brown are hilarious as well. I never thought oafish laughter could sound so good.

Ah, I should've known seeing as how I watched a preview where Linderman's explaining... stuff, including the line about New York's population. Thanks for making it easier, haha.

1. Make friends with some other MM person who lives in town: check. (I'm looking at you, Nick.)
2. Leech: Will do.
3. Leech like never done: I'll look into it.
4. Share: Of course! Assuming the network will let me that is. I was only able to access it once during the entire first half of semester and only the first half of the year last year. :'(

".07%" damnit! I actually wonder what it stands for...

gah the last year or so I've been tempted to starve myself for a few weeks so I can try and afford a DS but then I wonder how much my uni work would suffer...I get addicted to things FAR too easily ( changes bannana bag on his Coffee IV drip ) aaaah perky  ;)
I really wanted to play animal crossing! :$

If you really want bang for you buck, wait till Big W (or any other competing retailer) has another random Nintendo DS Lite + Free Game promotion. It could potentially save you $50+! Animal Crossing is addictive, and because time still goes on when you're not playing... well let's just say that my world is filled with weeds. I haven't touched it in ages.

By the way, Lair on PS3 looks absolutely amazing. It makes me want to get one (but the price of the damn console makes me nauseous).

has anyone played hotel dusk room 215 on ds? i've been eyeing it off at work but dont know if i should bother...

A few game reviews gave it okay scores of 75 and above (I'm using the "out of 100" method here), so it might be a worthwhile purchase. The only real negative criticism with regard to the game was the 'sluggish pacing' (IGN and Hyper agree on this). Heck, even if the story wasn't good I'd probably buy it just for the art style.

And yep, it's Eledees apparently. Ew.

on the topic of genre anyone know what genre ICO is? 3rd person puzzle/action?

please add any games to this be it mainstream or obscure.

Sounds about right. But instead of the action half, it's probably more of an adventure game.

I'm a DSer and have been off the large console systems for night on seven years now (as may be evidenced through my absolute noobidity in HALO - you know who you are), so basically most of the games I'm looking forward to are on the handheld.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings - NDS
Heroes of Mana - NDS
Touch The Dead - NDS

Games already out that I want to get include:

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan - NDS
Elite Beat Agents - NDS
The Phoenix Wright Series - NDS
Trauma Center: Under The Knife - NDS

Unless the prices in Oz come down, I'll probably resort to buying them on the net since it'll most likely end up being cheaper.

I also recommend Solitaire. It is awesome.

Im liking the special effects anyways, I loved claires healing of all the burns and everything in "Company man" She looks so freaky at the start of it all. Hehe.

Haha, yeah, that's the scene I had in mind when I mentioned the "increase in budget". That episode was just brilliant in pacing and for eye candy.

If you love the show, you've probably already gone to this page:

It's the "Official/Unofficial Fan Site for HEROES" [sic], previously (if not still) run by Tim Kring I believe. Some great insight into the production of the episodes - there's been a Q&A thing going on for the past few weeks or something. Check it out.

My internet was capped about a few days ago JUST ONE DAY BEFORE .07% was to come out. I was gagging.

Seeing as how this is an animation and VFX forum, and quite a few students are into comics/graphic novels, I was quite surprised that Heroes hasn't been made a topic yet; so here it is.

Anyone watch it? Torrent or TV? Opinions on the stories, actors or visual effects?

At first I thought it was just a badly done 'Lost'. It seemed to be edited quite awkwardly and many of the characters seemed flat in the beginning. The special effects in the first few episodes weren't anything to shout about either, but it seems that the success of the show has entailed an increase in budget - at least that's how it looks to me. Love where the story's going and can't wait for the next episode (US one that is).
