Title: Graphic Designer/Creative Services

Flying Bark Productions is internationally recognised as Australia’s leading producer of quality children’s and family entertainment and we are looking for a talented Graphic Designer.

The successful candidate will be competent in Macintosh and PC Programs including:
Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat professional, Flash, Dreamweaver, Word & Excel, PowerPoint and Quark.
After Effects and Maya are a plus but not essential.

The primary responsibility will be designing Promotional Materials for the studio including:
Bibles, Brochures, Flyers, Marketing Presentations, magazine advertisements.
Creating all of the studio stationery for professional printing, Organisation charts and floor plans as well as liaising with print houses for professional print media.

Included in this position are aspects of screen and website development including:
-Updating the Flash presentations with new images and exporting as Swf.
-Animated Gifs.
-Website, Flash and PSP design layouts in photoshop.
-Website design in Dreamweaver.
-Creating and manipulating images for mobile phones.
-Resizing images in various formats.

Other design work will include:
Drawing, scanning and manipulating images.
Creating logos, disc menu screens and DVD artwork layout for in-house print.
Liaising with overseas and in-house management/production staff for jobs that are required.

no, not graduate first, produce work first. Work work work. There are people in the industry all the time from tafe and from just being that darn good. Uni is fantastic and all, but the be all and end all is work. What you have to show. Rargh.

Yeesh how sad must I have been to get the uber post countage.
Ze job is awesome sauce. With funky Canadian, british, australian and...well I don't know what she is but everyone there is awesome. I love the work and I get payed a VERY good wage ( my first purchase was a DS mature of me :D )
So yeah. I love work!

invest in a balaclava and some suitable gloves. get the co-op to order one in for you and then just go all cat burgalar over the hill. No ones around :) I mean if certain people can have wheely chair rollercoasters down the jackcross slope without being caught by security Im pretty sure you can evade security in scoring your tablet.

I was told it was bad. I had a look at the trailer and it kinda made me think 'slasher movie' so I wasn't really into seeing people killed in semi interesting gory ways for an hour and a bit. Plus there is the whole "its a vampire" movie thing which really doesn't inspire confidence. The only vampire movie I have ever thought was even...semi....not lame ( great engrish there! ) was interview with a vampire...if only it didn't have tom cruise in it..friggen midget would have been better placed as a hobbit in something...
