Course Enquiries / Re: Need help enrolling and choosing an elective
« on: January 11, 2011, 11:11:13 AM »
CSU have lovingly provided an online handbook of sorts, providing a wealth of information about each and every subject.

(By "wealth of information" I mean "you'll be lucky to get a paragraph")
(And by "lovingly provided" I mean "hastily slapped together something ugly and cumbersome to use")

But anyway- [here's the link you want].

photography is the shizz.. having access to better-than-decent cameras will make your VFX205 and 206 life so much easier!!

buuuut... VPA106 is way too important to NOT do. So imo, if you haven't done 106, then do 106!

Also, Rowan, help me pick an elective ;D

woohoo! *high five* bernard :D

I like the idea of everyone having a character or an object or something to design for the mural :)
so its more collaborative and not just one person who gets to do the whole thing

This is great maz :) I hope you have better luck than we did haha
go go go!

.. kinda defeats the purpose of the game Light cycles if you have to ride a bike that can't steer and you keep crashing into walls you can't see :P

Most of you are probably aware of the video/track avaliable on YouTube called [Alice]
For the rest of ye, its a clever, trippy piece of music; made up from sounds collected and spliced together from Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

If you thought it was cool, I strongly suggest you check out [Pogo's YouTube channel] and his website - [PogoMix]

Some of his tracks had to be removed from his channel, such as the Alice video I linked above... so make sure you scout around YouTube for some of his other stuff :)

Oh and here is a [track especially for Bridgey-Didge] :D

I hope you're all having an awesome holidays!
Stay safe :)

Suggestions / Re: Image posting on the forums ~everyone please read~

Agreed :)

I think its ok to post maybe one or two images of something you've found or what you've done... but its not necessary to spam a bajillion different variants of the same image/artist...

and heres an image just to be hypocritical ;D

Director: We've got to do the Jiminy Jillikers scene again, Milhouse.
Milhouse: [fuming] But we already did it. It took seven hours, but we did it. It's done!
Director: Yes, but we've got to do it from different angles! Again and again! And again and again and again and again and again!
